From 1975 - 1990 ELECTRO - CONTACT was appointed as South - African agent for the Spanish AGUT brand of electrical switchgear and components.
In 1994 AGUT was acquired by General Electric. ELECTRO-CONTACT has since been a major distributor of General Electric Control & Automation electrical switchgear and products.
New ties were formed with Mapson & Salzer in 2013 to be able expand our product offerings.
